Revised Higher Chemistry
We've decided to go with the Revised Higher this year in anticipation of there being 'minimal' changes needed for the CFE Higher next year. Notes will be revamped versions of my own Higher Notes, designed initially to mesh with a Higher course produced by mainly James Gillespies (Edinburgh). This in turn was based on 'Challenge Chemistry' as produced by R.I.S.E.
Schools, such as ourselves, who purchased 'Challenge Chemistry' probably have the right to use amended versions of their worksheets. However, I cannot presume to have any right to share or distribute these, so will only be posting my own stuff.

Kids are too keen and working too fast so we are thinking of keeping most of this the same as previous years with a new section on Food Chemistry to draw it all together at the end. Easier than trying to integrate new with old. Maybe next year.
Also decided to make LTS files easier/quicker to access.

Just started Unit 2. Lot of new stuff that Peter is still rationalising/writing so decided to split Unit into 2 parts (at least) since first part was largely similar to previous course and relatively 'easy' to throw together.
Revised Higher Chemistry Update 1
This a 'retrospective' post as we started the Higher last June. Unit 1 was relatively straightforward thanks to the hard work of colleagues at James Gillespies (Edinburgh) - one since moved on to St Thomas of Aquin's (Edinburgh) - who had reorganised many of the 'Challenge Chemistry' resources that we've been using for many years.

This iOS App would suit students or teachers new to the course.
It includes a full set of AP Chemistry Notes as well as 170+ FlashCards with AP level questions, tips and advice. In addition, there are now 1600+ MC Questions arranged by AP Unit.
Each Question comes with a Hint & Explanation as an aid to undersatnding.
Many of these Questions would be suitable for A-Level, IB , AdvH , OCR etc. but would not cover all the content of these courses.
This will be Physical & Inorganic Chemistry with very little Organic.

This iOS & macOS App could suit students but is aimed more at teachers, tutors and home-schoolers.
This App uses the same bank of 1600+ MCQ but provides the opportunity to select and export questions as PDF Quizzes, Tests, Reviews or Exams.
Multiple Sets with Multiple Versions, chosen indivdually or at random.
Answers & Explanations can also be printed.
Question Banks can be archived and loaded when required.
You need to access the Apple Store from a Laptop/Desktop to install the macOS version.
